Heidi Elnora is more than a designer — she’s a force of nature. An Alabama-based fashion designer, entrepreneur, motivational speaker, television personality, historic preserver, and proud wife and mother of three (Jack, Bo, and Eleanor), Heidi brings soul, style, and purpose to everything she touches.
A graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, Heidi burst onto the fashion scene as a fan-favorite on Project Runway before starring in her own TLC series, Bride By Design. For nearly two decades, she revolutionized the bridal industry through her iconic brand, heidi elnora Atelier, and sister label, Build-A-Bride™, pioneering inclusive, customizable bridalwear long before it was trending. Her innovative bridal toppers and add-ons first debuted internationally on The Today Show and earned features in The New York Times, British Vogue, Martha Stewart Weddings, and more.

Her collections graced over 30 retailers worldwide — including all 18 Nordstrom wedding suites and Bergdorf Goodman — making her a true industry trailblazer. But Heidi’s creativity doesn’t stop at fashion — she’s also a visionary behind major revitalization efforts, restoring historic landmarks in Birmingham and Huntsville, Alabama, and turning them into vibrant community retail spaces.
Driven by a passion to empower others, Heidi co-founded Birmingham Fashion Week, bringing runway magic to her hometown for six years, and launched Heidi’s Fashion Camp, a decade-strong program that inspires young creatives aged 6–12 to dream big and design boldly.
